Creating Your Account
Get started by signing up for a free Akangbou account.
Visit the Sign Up Page
Navigate to the Akangbou sign up page.
- Go to akangbou.com
- Click "Sign Up" in the top navigation
- Or visit akangbou.com/signup directly
Enter Your Information
Provide your basic details to create your account.
- Enter your full name (this will be displayed on your profile)
- Provide your email address (used for login and notifications)
- Create a secure password (minimum 8 characters)
- Optionally add your phone number for account security
Note: Make sure to use a professional email address that you check regularly.
Verify Your Email
Check your inbox for a verification email from Akangbou.
- Open the verification email
- Click the verification link
- You'll be redirected back to Akangbou
Note: If you don't see the email, check your spam folder.
Setting Up Your Profile
Complete your profile to make a great first impression.
Add a Profile Photo
Upload a professional headshot or company logo.
- Click on your profile icon in the top right
- Select "Edit Profile"
- Click the camera icon to upload a photo
- Choose a clear, professional image (recommended: 400x400px or larger)
Write Your Bio
Tell others about yourself and your expertise.
- In the profile editor, find the "Bio" section
- Write 2-3 sentences about your background and specialties
- Mention your role (e.g., Builder, Developer, Contractor)
- Include your location and years of experience
Add Your Professional Details
Fill out additional information to enhance your profile.
- Add your company name (if applicable)
- Select your industry specialties
- Add your location (city and state)
- Include your website or portfolio link
Save Your Profile
Review and save your profile information.
- Review all information for accuracy
- Click "Save Profile" at the bottom
- Your profile is now live!
