Influencer Program Policy

Terms that govern how creators join the Akangbou influencer program, earn commissions, and stay compliant with disclosure laws.

Program Overview

Akangbou partners with creators who reach construction audiences. Influencers refer builders or supporters, host co-branded events, and share marketplace campaigns. This policy explains eligibility, payout mechanics, and compliance expectations.

Eligibility & Onboarding

  • You must apply at influencers@akangbou.com with audience metrics, sample content, and disclosure history.
  • Approved partners sign a short-form agreement plus this policy. We may run KYC checks through Stripe Connect.
  • Accounts must stay in good standing (no policy violations, no overdue invoices).

Commission Structure

Subscription & Seat Referrals

  • $2.00 USD per qualifying referral seat (processed monthly).
  • Lifetime referral credit lasts 12 months from signup. Commissions pause if the referred account lapses or refunds.

Campaign Co-Promotions

  • Creators may negotiate flat fees or revenue share for spotlight placements.
  • All payouts flow through Stripe Connect with 1099-NEC reporting.

Content & Disclosure Requirements

  • Include #AkangbouPartner or platform-specific disclosures (e.g., “Paid partnership with Akangbou”) on every sponsored asset.
  • Do not make earnings claims, ROI guarantees, or unverified product statements.
  • Share campaign or waitlist stats exactly as displayed inside the dashboard—no rounding up.

Use of Assets

  • We may repurpose your submitted content in paid ads or product marketing with credit.
  • You may use Akangbou logos and templates provided in the media kit but may not alter them beyond color adjustments.
  • All influencer landing pages must link back to akangbou.com or approved short links.

Compliance & Termination

  • Failure to disclose sponsored content, fraudulent referrals, or policy violations may forfeit unpaid commissions.
  • Either party may terminate with 14 days’ notice. Outstanding qualified commissions will still be paid.
  • We reserve the right to require content edits or takedowns to maintain brand safety.
